Conversion Xcelerator was developed in 1997 as a tool to convert legacy data into Oracle HRMS. At the time, few API’s existed for editing and validation, and Xcelicor developed technology to emulate the API’s and enable conversion to be a straightforward task during project implementation. Today, the Conversion Xcelerator is a robust tool designed to translated data in any format and uses the supported API’s to push information into the Oracle database. "Any Format" means you choose the way you want to extract information from legacy sources, and the number of sources does not impact the scope of the conversion effort. Whether you have information stored in 1 legacy source or 15 legacy sources, the scope of the conversion effort remains the same using Conversion Xcelerator by Xcelicor. The Conversion Xcelerator converts basic employee information to complex balance loads.


The underlying foundation of the technology was developed on Oracle tables, using Oracle Forms as the graphic user interface. Data can be mapped using the Conversion Xcelerator graphical user interface, and extracts from legacy sources can be in any format you desire. Translation list of values enable users to identify legacy values to Oracle values easily. Auditing, error reports and pop up messages allows users to validate and change data quickly; or rules can be developed to automatically correct the data.
